This is how I felt the evening of my first major surgery. Sore all over, incapable of putting on my own shoes or getting in and out of a chair, painful even to walk. But God is good. Vitals are excellent, recovery is happening swiftly, especially for someone my age. Thankful to have come through. Thankful to be home again.
