® Specialized carburetor screwdriver

The long, skinny screwdriver in the foreground of this picture is the subject of this article. This nice little tool is probably close to fifty years old. I am pretty sure I was a fairly new mechanic when I purchsed it new off the Snap-On truck. It is extremely lightweight, even delicate, for a screwdriver, and long and narrow. Most interesting of all, note the square-shaped handle. That's designed to make it easier to count the turns, as you would do on a carburetor pilot (idle mixture) screw. And did you catch the indented shape on the end of the handle? You might naturally put your index finger there. I still use this screwdriver today on vintage Hondas carburetors.
