I read about this for years on forums before I ever saw one. Why anyone would continue to try to rotate a crankshaft whose pistons are rusted to the cylinders is a mystery. But there it is. There really is no such thing as common sense.

This is comical. If I didn't know that people actually do this, I would consider it a gag. Unfortunately, it is real enough. And how many of these hexes I have seen all chewed up, probably from the wrong size wrenched, maybe even from pliers!
