I had lost my job and living arrangements. This meant moving into an apartment and getting rid of a lot of motorcycle stuff and even some motorcycles. Among the bikes were my CBX (which I bought back years later), a Yamaha SRX600, a lot of tools and enough pieces to put together a 500/650 hybrid. Thirty years later, in 2025, here I am accumulating all of the 650 parts once again, with a much better chance of actually doing it this time.
